Finally, I have something to blog about...although I guess my days are going to get increasing interesting.

Went for UCL orientation at government chalets in Loyang yesterday. I'm glad that my driving reason to teach - being able to rent these chalets is being refuelled by the attractiveness of the chalets, they are seriously starting to look like condominiums - just can't wait!

On a darker note...I must confess that I don't fit in very well with the Singaporeans going to UCL at all. I met Sara from Sec 1 and 2, Huimin, she's not aneroxic anymore, so we kind of stuck together. It was supposed to be overnight, but I decided to be a party pooper and leave halfway. Ah well.

Why do I not fit in...perhaps because 4 out of the 5 girls in my orientation group were from VJ, and the last girl was me? Or perhaps it was the loud music and the (this is UK slang) booze..oh I don't know. But not all people from United World College are typical well...UN-nice people. :)
